Short Summary

Tom was sick, and Aunt Polly gave him different strange treatments, including a strong painkiller. Tom secretly poured it out and even gave some to a cat, which went wild. Aunt Polly realised her mistake and stopped giving him medicine. The story shows that too much experimenting can be harmful.
